Stave Church GOL
The model represents a stave church originally from Gol, Hallingdal, Norway. The church was built about 1212, but about 1884 the building was moved to the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History to save it from demolition. In the past, more than two thousands stave churches were built in Norway, but the Gol is one of the last stave churches which has survived until the present day.
