Historical Background:

Invented during the American Civil War, the Gatling Gun used a hand-cranked
mechanism to fire hundreds of rounds per minute. While early models saw
limited action during the Siege of Petersburg, the weapon's psychological impact
and reliability led it to become a staple of late 19th-century military history. This
kit replicates the 1862 configuration, the very design that paved the way for
modern defensive technology.

Note: Paint and glue are required for assembly but not included. For the most
authentic finish, we recommend the Guns of History Acrylic Paint Set.
