Photo-etched parts add wonderful detail to a model. They also have a habit of bending everywhere except where you intended.
The Model Expo Photo-Etched Parts Bender holds thin metal parts firmly at the fold line while you shape them with the included blade. Its two hand-tightened knobs secure the upper plate, and the 16 bending profiles help you form V, L, Z, P, and U-shaped parts. For longer folds, use the continuous straight edge.
It’s a useful addition to the workbench for folding brackets, boxes, fenders, shields, and other photo-etched details on ships, aircraft, and vehicles. Your tweezers will still have plenty to do. This just gives them one less job.

How to use: Remove and clean the photo-etched part. Position its fold line at the appropriate edge or profile, then tighten the knobs gently. Slide the blade beneath the exposed section and lift it to form the bend.
