USB-Rechargeable Micro Rotary & Engraving Pen — 10W, Up to 20,000 RPM
Pen-style control for sanding, shaping, engraving, and finishing wooden and plastic model parts.
With a slim body, an approximate weight of 60 grams, and three speed settings up to 20,000 RPM, it puts powered shaping and finishing into a tool you can hold much like a pencil.Use it to refine wooden fittings, clean up plastic components, shape scratch-built parts, and work on small details with suitable rotary accessories. And because it’s USB-C rechargeable, you can work without a power cord dragging across the bench. Your model has enough delicate things sticking out of it already.
A Small Tool for Detailed Work
The pen-style grip lets you position your fingers close to the working end, helping you guide the accessory during small, localized jobs.
Its lightweight body is convenient for working on individual components, approaching a part from different angles, and making gradual adjustments as you check the fit.
For modelers building wooden ships, plastic aircraft, cars, armor, or dioramas, it’s a useful addition to the files, sanding sticks, knives, and other tools already earning their keep on the bench.
Three Speeds to Suit the Task
Select from three speed settings, with a maximum speed of 20,000 RPM.
Use a lower setting for heat-sensitive materials and controlled finishing. Higher settings may suit grinding or engraving with appropriate bits, depending on the material and the accessory’s rated speed.
More speed is not automatically better. Particularly when the part you’re working on took three weeks to arrive.
For Wooden Model Builders
With suitable carving bits and abrasives, use the pen for:
Shaping small wooden fittings and scratch-built components.
Refining deck furniture, trim, and decorative details.
Beveling small edges and making localized fit adjustments.
Smoothing accessible rough areas before assembly.
Adding carved details and textures to wood and scenic elements.
It’s especially useful when a part needs a little material removed in a specific spot. Work gradually, check the fit, and repeat as needed.
For Plastic Model Builders
With suitable fine abrasives and shaping bits, use it for:
Reducing remaining sprue nubs after clipping parts from the frame.
Cleaning up accessible mold seams before final hand finishing.
Shaping styrene pieces for conversions and scratch building.
Removing small amounts of material to improve clearance or fit.
Creating surface textures for weathering and diorama work.
On thin or delicate components, practice on a spare part first and keep each pass brief.
For Small Metal Components
Suitable grinding and polishing accessories can help you clean up small metal castings, smooth accessible burrs, and polish compatible fittings.
Secure the component before working and use light pressure. The results depend on the metal, accessory, and amount of material being removed.
USB-C Rechargeable Convenience
The built-in rechargeable lithium battery lets you work cordless and recharge through the USB-C connection between sessions.
Move around the part freely, reposition your hands, and keep another cable out of the work area. Convenient at the main workbench or wherever you’ve temporarily established a second workbench without formally announcing it.
Accessory Compatibility
The tool accepts accessories with 2.35 mm shanks.
Choose compatible engraving bits, carving burs, abrasive heads, brushes, or polishing attachments suited to your task. Check both the shank diameter and the accessory’s maximum operating speed before use.

A Tip for the Workbench
Start gently. You can always remove more material. Putting it back is considerably less convenient.
Practice on scrap first, secure small parts, and let the accessory do the work. On styrene, use the lowest suitable speed and brief, light passes to limit heat buildup. Finish delicate surfaces with hand tools where needed.
A versatile little tool for the shaping, cleanup, and finishing that help a model come together properly.
